They didn't have the deluxe sashimi set but called to offer the smaller sashimi set. I agreed to the change but it was not reflected in final bill. I was billed the deluxe set. The delivery boy showed me the bill before the changed set. Explain yourself please

It will be good if the mechennt can put on the food name label on the boxes, so that it is easy for us to counter check when purchased in huge volume. Regards

The california rolls where rolled to tight and probably kept a few hours in the icebox.
There was no soyasauce, shogs, wasabi, chopsticks.
    Delivery time was excellent

    - Not much soya sauce included
    - The California roll was more likely a Korean sushi type
    - Overall on time and good service but nothing special

    Mochis @Mid Valley

Sushi Q is operated as a fast food, Take-and-Go concept with a dine in option. Unlike Publika where the seating is more spacious and comfortable, their outlet at Mid Valley is more "open" meaning it's a kiosk just beside the walkway so there's almost people walking by, which I didn't like Anyway their Mochis are super good too.. as good as my favorite Mochi Sweets Especially love the red bean, green tea and mango versions

Soft Shell Crab Hand Roll @ Sushi Q Mid Valley

Good soft-shelled crabs are hard to come by.. as most tend to be either too soft or mushy (overcooked maybe ?) or too hard. Sushi Q does them just nice.. nicely fried and crunchy with just the slight amount of salt and pepper seasoning I love it in their Hand Roll form. Can finish them in just 2 bites.. made for the perfect snack! The seaweed roll used is super crunchy and tasty too!

Baby Octopus Inari @Sushi Q Mid Valley

I super love Baby Octopuses.. especially when done Japanese-style I love them in all types- sushis, hand rools, in ramens, etc.. So of course, I also love this version in Inari. Meaning the baby octopus is placed atop sushi rice wrapped in sweet Japanese seasoned tofu. Nice! The slightly salty baby octopuses is well-seasoned and perfectly complements the sweet tofu and rice.

Seafood Salad @Sushi Q Mid Valley

OK, this is like the perfect super light meal or snack for the ladies.. or even gents who are currently on diet haa haa.. super refreshing, it's pre-packed with an assortment of cold cooked seafood (baby octopuses, prawns, fish slices, scallops, etc...) and of course with lots of fresh lettuces, carrot shreds and sliced cucumber. Not to mention the obligatory sweet mayo spread

    Seaweed Inari@ SushiQ Mid Valley

Another of my all-time favorites from Sushi Q that's simple yet appetizing is this - the Seaweed Inari. The seaweed though cold is certainly refreshing and of course well-seasoned with a little bit of sugar and salt, so that it doesn't leave a weird taste in the mouth. I also love the Inari (sweet seasoned tofu) used to wrap the sushi rice and the seaweed. Super tasty

    Quick Q @ Sushi Q

The love for Japanese food is probably the reason to my failure of resisting myself from getting few of these “fast sushi” from Sushi Q. Instead of the usual quick sushi from the revolving belts, this one makes it a lot quicker by getting customers to pick item straight up from the sushi bar, and then pay at cashier with what is on your tray. Somewhat is the first of its kind here in Malaysia. They probably adapted this culture where it is sold in a whole roll to fit into the whole rush hour, especially those wrapped in seaweed. But you can always request that they cut it for you.

The hungry and greedy me got myself quite a bit for today. My usual and must have, salmon and I ordered the Tazuna maki- a rice rolled with crabstick, egg, and cucumber, with salmon and avocado on the outside. It was very well presented, but excuse me but I really think that salmon must be fresh made on the spot. However, no diarrhea…so not to worryI have never been a big fan of Inari, but I still go ahead getting myself Lobster mayo maki. I never understood how this is a maki but that‘s what they call this. The toppings were generous, but it was too much for the mouth size. The toppings were astringent but delicious and kind of mask the sweet tofu skin.Next is the seaweed wrapped smoked duck. This one is delicious, great combination of smoked duck with chunky texture from the cucumber. All these maybe too much for small eaters, and worry not because they sell alacarte sushi as well. I tried the tuna sushi, and the ebi sushi. I guess they really must work on the names before displaying them. At least they got the ‘ebi’ part right. ‘’Tuna sushi’’ is rice wrapped with inari skin and on top of it is a tuna ball. The other is the same thing, replacing inari with tamago, and tuna ball with prawn. So that is a lot for a tiny eater, but it was really fun and quick. It would be perfect for times when you need to catch a quick and filling bite right before you catch the movie in the cinema. You’ll be wrong to think that they are not up to par with authentic Japanese cuisine. Well think again, because they have all the basics in Japanese food. Even better, they presented it beautifully. Check out their wasabi.Lastly, my usual cup of hot green tea.

    Sushi Q

    Good..!

Every sushi there is fresh and nice... The people made the sushi is hygiene because they have use a glove to prepare it..the sushi is taste good.. This was also my first try on this sushi.. The wasa bi was cute because it has a flower shape on it.. The sushi stall look small but it provide table and chair beside the sushi stall.. .. Awesome..! They also provide some small table like bar table for people to watch the process of making sushi while eating..

    Sushi Q @ Mid Valley

I'm a loyal customer of Sakae Sushi until recently I think it's time for me to try out other sushi franchises to check out their quality. I stumble upon Sushi Q, and find their sushi platter affordably priced. I choose my favourite sushi set, and it is RM12. If you are a wasabi lover, you can get extra wasabi from the counter and is Free! The sushi has lots of variety, comes in large portion but with moderately good taste. The sushi rice is not so fragrant, but the ingredients are very fresh. Worth a try!
