Yam Cake Storage Tips

Our yam cake recipe can be quite filling. You can store your leftover yam cakes in a sealed container and keep them in the freezer for three months. To eat, let the cakes thaw in the fridge overnight and steam for 8 to 10 minutes before consuming. Yam cake can also be prepared a day earlier. Keep the cake in the refrigerator and re-steam it when needed. Then add the toppings when it’s time to serve. This way, you can easily add yam cake to your menu when you hold large gatherings
