Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 550g of ground pork
  • 480ml of chicken stock
  • ¼ tsp of salt
  • ¼ tsp of black pepper
  • 80g of yee mee, or 1 packet
  • 5 medium shrimps, peeled and deveined
  • 1 Napa cabbage leaf
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ tsp of sesame oil

Directions

  • In a claypot over medium heat, add oil and sauté garlic until aromatic.
  • Add ground pork and cook until brown.
  • Pour in the chicken stock and bring it to a boil.
  • Season with salt and pepper and let the broth simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add in yee mee, shrimps, and Napa cabbage.
  • Crack in the egg, cover the pot with the lid and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat and drizzle sesame oil over the top. Serve immediately.

Customisable Toppings
