  • 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • 5 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 5 fresh red chillies, chopped
  • 10 shrimps, peeled, deveined, and halved
  • 10 fresh lady’s fingers, sliced diagonally
  • 1 tsp of belacan
  • 2 tsp of light soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp of water

Directions

  • In a pan over medium-high heat, add oil.
  • Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add red chillies, shrimp, lady’s fingers, belacan and sauté for 2 minutes.
  • Pour in light soy sauce and water and cook until the lady’s fingers are tender and sticky.
  • Serve immediately.
