Meal: Brunch, Dessert Cuisine: French
Preparation time: Cooking time: Total time: Yield: 5 servings
Ingredients
150g of all-purpose flour
2 tbsp of sugar
¼ tsp of salt
2 eggs
375ml of milk
½ tsp of vanilla extract
1 tbsp of unsalted butter, melted
Softened butter (for greasing)
Equipment
1 bowl
1 whisk
1 non-stick pan
1 pastry brush
1 spatula
Directions
In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
Add eggs, 125ml of milk, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Whisk until all the ingredients are well combined and smooth.
Slowly pour in the remaining milk, stirring to mix. The batter should be liquidy.
Add in the melted butter and whisk to combine.
In a non-stick pan over medium heat, grease with butter using the pastry brush.
Pour 3 tablespoons worth of the batter onto the centre of the pan, tilting to spread the batter evenly across the entire surface.
When the edges begin to peel off from the pan and is lightly brown, use a spatula to flip the crepe. Cook for another 10 seconds, then remove from heat.
Repeat with the rest of the batter, and when complete, serve immediately!
